Welcome to Excelor, your AI-powered financial analyst and Excel automation partner. This guide helps you leverage Excelor's capabilities to build models, research companies, and analyze data efficiently.


🚀 Getting Started

  1. Open Excelor: Click the Excelor button in your Excel ribbon to open the task pane.
  2. Connect: Ensure you are connected to the backend server (indicator in the settings/status area).
  3. Select Model: Choose your preferred AI model (e.g., Gemini 3 Flash) from the footer dropdown.

💬 Chat Interface

The side panel is your command center. You can chat with Excelor naturally to perform tasks.

  • Send a Message: Type your request and press Enter.
  • New Line: Press Shift + Enter to create a new line in the chat box.
  • Reference Sheets: Type # to trigger a dropdown of your current workbook's sheets. Select a sheet to mention it in your prompt (e.g., "Analyze the data in #Sheet1").
  • Slash Commands: Type / to see available commands like /template.
  • Stop: Click the red Stop button to interrupt the agent if needed.

📊 Financial Data Tools

Fetch real-time financial data directly into your workbook using the Financial Datasets integration.
